Torre d'Albori

Torre d'Albori was built in the 16th century as a watchtower defending the coast from Saracen attacks, and has been turned into a historic villa for exclusive stays and events.

It stands on the cliff between Vietri sul Mare, famous for its hand-painted ceramics, and Cetara, a fishing village, and takes its name from the small village of Albori that rises above it.

The main level opens with floor-to-ceiling windows overhanging the sea: an elegant sitting room with an antique fireplace and a large dining table, and an adjacent lounge. A modern, fully equipped kitchen completes this level.

The interiors are furnished with antiques and collections of paintings and sculpture, over tiled floors decorated with period majolica. A large winter garden with a pool table and a piano hosts dinners and events, and there is a home cinema.

Terraced gardens on several levels, planted with lemon trees and Mediterranean vegetation, frame the private parking and the relaxation areas, and lead down to the sea by a private descent.

The panoramic pool can be heated on request from May to October. On the main terrace by the entrance, a large marble table and comfortable sofas are set for eating outdoors with the sea breeze.

All six double bedrooms are within the Tower and open onto one of the panoramic terraces. Each has its own bathroom with shower, air conditioning, a smart TV, Wi-Fi, a safe and a hair dryer, with a minibar on each floor.

The two bedrooms on the ground floor have independent entrances and direct access to the garden, and can be made adjoining on request.
